Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85. The Department requires Janitorial Services in a health care environment at the Bob Michel VA Outpatient Clinic in Peoria, IL for a period of April 1, 2016 to September 30, 2016, with an additional Four (4) One (1) Year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is set aside for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, with a North American Industry Classification System code of 561720, with a size standard of $18.0 Million. The solicitation will issue February 25, 2016 and responses will be due on March 14, 2016 at 4PM CST. Please see attachments for solicitation submission details and requirements. All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted by 12PM, Monday March 7th, 2016. Responses to RFI's shall be posted by COB Tuesday March 8, 2016. Please send all questions to kevin.adkins@va.gov Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management/support, transportation, supplies, equipment and materials except government-furnished space and utilities as identified in the specifications, necessary for the accomplishment of a "fully-managed total environmental sanitation maintenance program" to clean a 35,000 square foot single story building to identified minimally acceptable standards at the Outpatient Clinic as identified in this Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor and contractor employees shall comply with the Privacy Act. A site Visit will be held on Friday March 4, 2016 at 11:30 AM.
