Description

Description: This contract is for removal of old and installation of new window glazing in accordance with industry practice. Any glazing within 18 inches of the floor shall be tempered. All new window glazing shall be Low E and Argon gas filled double pane glazing (tempered as required by code). Work is at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Laboratory, Corvallis, OR. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 3/11/16. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardees MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a Federal Government Contract. If you are not registered, please register at the following site: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P).
