- This is a Request for Information (RFI) for high speed / high volume, multi-functional devices (MFDs) to conduct market research solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This request does not commit the United States Army Corps of Engineers to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. USACE is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that USACE will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Instructions for Submitting RFI Response Interested parties are encouraged to reply to this RFI no later than Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 12:00 noon, Central Standard Time (CST) by email to jose.m.gamboa@usace.army.mil. 1. Capability Statement - Please address the following questions. What are the levels of performance available for copies per minute and copies per month for the range 30 cpm - 130 cpm, black and white (B&W) and color and for monthly volume of impressions from 3,0000 - 150,000? At what quantity of MFDs requires a dedicated on-site technician? What is considered an acceptable breakdown rate? Do all MFDs come with CAC-enabled ability or are they add-on as needed? Do MFDs need to be modified to meet HIPPA requirements or are all MFDs already provided with this ability? Please include the following descriptive information in your capability statements: name of company, point of contact, telephone number, email address; company address, size of business, and other contract vehicles, if any. 2. Comments and Feedback - no more than 10 pages. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this RFI with their comments, concerns, questions and overall feedback.
