Description

The Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a four (4) month bridge contract with a two (2) month option for NATO SEASPARROW Project Office (NSPO) technical and financial support services on a sole source basis to Herren and Associates, Inc., 5788 Westchester Street,Alexandria, VA 22310. The bridge contract will provide continuation of mission critical services until a competitive SEAPORT follow-on contract can be awarded. The services require the Contractor to provide qualified personnel for engineering, technical, and general service to support NSPO. Herren is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge and expertise to meet the continuous support service requirements for NSPO. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Herren directly. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
