Description
SOW Amendment Updated SOW with highlighted changes, dated 22 February 2016 Questions and Answers Version 4 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 & 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-86. This acquisition will be 100% set aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621, Security alarm systems sales combined with installation, repair, or monitoring services. The small business size standard is $20.5M. Columbus AFB requires the inspection and testing of the fire foam suppression systems at Buildings 246 and 440 on Columbus AFB, MS in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW), dated 22 February 2016. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, management, supervision, coordination and transportation required to accomplish this work. Performance at Columbus AFB, MS 39710. There will be a site visit conducted for this requirement at Columbus AFB on 16 February 2016 at 10:00 am CDT. All attendees must register at the Visitor Center office prior to entry onto the base. Visitors to the base must bring driver's license, car registration, and proof of insurance in order to obtain access to the installation. All attendees must contact A1C Katelyn Pinto at katelyn.pinto@us.af.mil with an email copy to Mr. Michael Schneider at michael.schneider.26@us.af.mil by 1:00 pm CDT, 12 February 2016 to confirm intent to attend the site visit. Late attendees will not be accepted. Site visit questions must be submitted in writing by 17 February 2016 at 4:00 pm All interested parties must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. Contractors are required to be registered in SAM prior to submitting invoices. The SAM site can be accessed at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. All offers must be submitted by e-mail or faxed to the Contract Specialist by 26 February 2016 at 4:00 pm.Oral quotes will not be accepted.
