- Description
- This amendment is issued to post questions and answers regarding this RFQ. 1. Could you please clarify and explain why all conductor reels shall be returnable? We get funding back for a returnable reel. The reel deposit is paid up front, then repaid back to us at a later date when we turn them in. 2. Are returnable steel reels required? We prefer to have a returnable reel. We have no place to dispose of these reels when we are done with them. So having the ability to send them back helps us dispose of the reels. 3. Who will be responsible for unloading at the delivery location? The contractor is responsible for unloading the reels at the delivery location. 4. What is the maximum amount of reels that could be delivered to delivery location per delivery? All the reels can be delivered at once, we have no maximum. There is a large holding yard where these reels will be unloaded and sit until we are ready to use them. 5. Is delivery of ocean containers to delivery location acceptable. No, ocean containers can't be unloaded at delivery location. Only reels with wire/conductor can be unloaded at the delivery location.
