Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) VA797H-15-N-0015 DIGITAL IMAGING NETWORK-PICTURE ARCHIVING & COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM (DIN-PACS) FOR VETERANS INTEGRATED SERVICE NETWORK (VISN) 20 This is a RFI only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC) - High Tech Medical Equipment Division (HTME) will take procurement action in this matter. Further, neither the VA NAC - HTME nor the Government will be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information. This RFI is issued solely to gather information for planning purposes for VA to make decisions regarding the development of strategies for an enterprise-wide Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) with RIS/HIS that will both replace a current system and maintain cross reading abilities between eight facilities. All vendors are requested to review the entire attached RFI/Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and submit all requests for clarification to the Contracting Officer by the closing date 03-04-2016, Time PM/CST. Any clarification requested after 03-04-16 is untimely and will be answered at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The Department of Veteran Affairs Source Selection Evaluation Team will provide answers to vendors' questions as an attachment to the Request for Quotation (RFQ), Once issued, vendors will have 30 calendar days to submit their proposal in response to the RFQ (exact date TBD). 1.Vendors will be given an opportunity to ask questions to Source Selection Evaluation Team (SSET) submitted through the Contracting Officer via emails before final issuance of the final RFQ Solicitation VA797H-15-N-0025 exact date 2016(TBD). 2. RFQ opens for 30 calendar days exact date 2016(TBD) closing date exact date 2016 (TBD). All RFQ will be due on or before exact date 2016 (TBD). No offers will be accepted after due date exact date 2016 (TBD) 3:00pm CST. Please be advised that the VA is planning not to require a product demonstration after proposal submission therefore, the appropriate language with scheduling instructions and other information will be included in the RFQ that is now being drafted. NOTE: Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 20 requires that all vendors be on the DIN PACS III contract Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support (DLA-TS) on, or before the closing date of the RFQ posting date exact date 2016(TBD) Closing date exact date 2016 (TBD).
