- Description
- NOTE: The U.S. Government does not own the data rights for these systems. The data rights are currently owned by Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC). It is anticipated that no other contractor will be able to perform these services IAW FAR 6.302-1. In an effort to promote competition the USG is seeking, through this RFI, alternate sources that can perform these engineering tasks. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The USG will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. Background: The Precision Attack Technical Coordination Program (TCP) provides ongoing pod and related ancillary equipment sustainment and repair, including related documentation plus software support, for the below seven member nations which operate various LANTIRN configurations. International customer pods currently supported by the Precision Attack (TCP) include the Navigation Pod, AN/AAQ-13; Target Pod, AN/AAQ-14; Sharpshooter pod, AN/AAQ-14(V1); and Pathfinder pod, AN/AAQ-20 that together make-up the Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) systems. The TCP charter also, permits support of the newer state-of-the-art targeting pod concepts such as the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP), AN/AAQ-33. As such, the TCP's prime responsibility is to ensure the availability of a comprehensive sustainment source for member support. The primary goal of the Precision Attack TCP is to support the Precision Attack Pod and related equipment capabilities of FMS member countries, which include the following: Israel Turkey Egypt Greece Taiwan Bahrain Saudi Arabia The tasks described herein are necessary to enable the Precision Attack TCP to sustain support capabilities for short and long term requirements of Precision Attack Pod international programs: - Evaluate and provide technical analysis, problem resolution and recommend corrective action for Precision Attack Pod related equipment problems and resource issues of Precision Attack TCP country members identified through action items and other requests. - Provide synopsis of engineering and sustainment issues, including the efforts to resolve them, at Precision Attack TCP annual briefings and other meetings as tasked.
