- NOTE: All responses to this IFP shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland, CO 80539-3003, ATTN: Cansu Teano. Physical Address for hand carried quotes/proposals/bids: Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland CO, 80538. The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The principal components of work includes; Providing curbed slab-type oil-containment foundation for 25 kV VFI pad-mount switch at Pleasant View Substation. Installing one (1) 25 kV, 4-way (1 source, 3-tap), pad-mount VFI switch at Pleasant View Substation, designated FW1D (Government furnished). Providing cable termination kit for 25 kV underground cables, relocating nine (9) existing three-phase sectionalizing cabinets along the South Canal 25kV Underground System, Installing one (1) 25kV, three-phase, four-way, sectionalizing cabinet with ground sleeve at Sandstone Substation. Installing nine (9) 25kV, three-phase, two-way, sectionalizing cabinets with ground sleeves along the South Canal 25kV Underground System. Providing grounding system at the relocated sectionalizing cabinets and new three-phase sectionalizing cabinets. Providing fault indicators, with remote light display, at the nineteen (19) three-phase sectionalizing cabinets within the South Canal system, designated. Providing 25kV, 4/0 copper underground power conductor with concentric neutral and cable splice kits. Repairing weather/UV damage to surface of all existing single and three-phase fiberglass sectionalizing cabinets within the South Canal 25kV system. Repairing weather/UV damage to surface of all existing single-phase transformer check structures within the South Canal 25kV system. Providing designation and high voltage signage at all relocated and new, single and three-phase sectionalizing cabinets within the South Canal 25kV system. Providing designation and high voltage signage at all single-phase transformer check structures within the South Canal 25kV system. All work shall be completed 120 calendar days after the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $36.5M. The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically at this site on or about 8 March 2016 at the following site: https://www.fbo.gov/. NOTE: the Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material.
