- The Edward Hines Jr VA Hospital, 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, IL is seeking potential sources capable of providing standardized reagents and validation studies for confirmatory Toxicology testing for VISN12. Testing to be completed on a Tandem Mass Spectrometer (instrument and peripherals listed below), located in the laboratory at VA Hines hospital. The applicable NAICS code is 325413 with a size standard of 500 employees. Validation studies to meet CLSI and CAP regulatory requirements, including methodology, customer training (on-site), and all supplies and consumables required for validation. Contractor must have the ability to supply a continuous inventory of reagents and/or chemicals (as appropriate) to include quality control material and consumable supplies to perform confirmatory toxicology drugs of abuse testing on 1500 urine specimens per month for a two (2) year period.
