Description
Market Research Questionnaire THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ­ FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking qualified small business contractors (including small disadvantaged businesses such as HUB Zone Certified, 8(a) Certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Women Owned, etc.) with Concrete Repair Specialty Construction/Contracting experience for the Concrete Repairs at the Federal Parking Garage located at 450 S. Federal in Chicago Illinois. The intent of this project is to provide a variety of structural concrete repairs to a 9-story, 2 level parking garage located at 450 S. Federal Street in Chicago, Illinois. The project consists of the following repairs: · * Routing and sealing cracks in concrete topping slab at Level 1. · * Overhead slab repairs. · * Topside slab repairs. · * Epoxy injection of beam diagonal shear cracks. · * Rout and seal vertical beam cracks. · * Vertical and overhead concrete repairs of beam spalling. · * Chemical grout injection into beam-column interface separation. · * Vertical concrete surface repairs of column spalling. · * Reinforce deteriorated concrete columns using carbon fiber. · * Post-tensioned beam repairs at Level 2. · * Architectural precast panel repair. · * Basement structural wall repair. · * Repairs to split level stairs. · * Repairs to chimney stack supports. The main goals for this project are to preserve the structural integrity & improve the safety for all the users of the facility. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition is 238110 and all associated specialty trade Contractors. The estimated total construction cost for this project falls within the range of $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. This is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to issuing a formal solicitation. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. If no responses are received from potentially responsible small business sources, GSA under the FAR part 19.501(b) will have completed its due diligence regarding setting this procurement aside for small businesses and will proceed with procuring this requirement on an unrestricted basis. Firms interested in this project as a Concrete Repair Specialty Contractor shall provide verifiable projects; a minimum of two & not more than five; successful examples that demonstrate experience in delivering concrete repair construction that have been completed within the last five years that are similar in size, scope, complexity as described herein. If you are an interested small business, please submit 1) the Market Research Questionnaire and 2) a Project Experience Form for each project example. All information is subject to verification. Each response shall be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether there exists reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from responsible small businesses that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only. Completed Market Research Questionnaires and Project Experience must be submitted no later than Tuesday, March 15, 2015 at 4:00 PM CDT.
