Description

This is an annual synopsis of Repair Basic Ordering Agreement(BOA) N00104-11-G-A007 with ALFA-LAVAL INC and serves as the presolicitation synopsis notice for all repair orders issued by the NAVSUP WSS-Mechanicsburg for the period of 18 Dec 2017 thru 17 Dec 2017 for evaluation and repair of various repair components of the Lube Oil Purification System manufactured and repaired by ALFA-LAVAL, INC. Several major items to be repaired include: 7HE-4330-01-208-4990, Bowl Assembly, P/N 528123-81 7HH-4330-01-425-4235, Purifier, Centrifugal, P/N A-2902 7HH-3130-00-969-3846, Bearing Assembly, P/N AD5875-4 7HH-4330-01-164-9640, Bowl Assembly, P/N 8708300-82 7HH-4330-01-514-2454, Purifier, Centrifugal, P/N E-8709935 7HH-4330-00-529-6020, Bowl Assembly, P/N 8700913-80. However, individual orders may be issued for any sole source item of repair under this Lube Oil Purification System on FFG Class Ships. A complete list of potential repairable items for which orders may be placed can be obtained upon request from the below cited point of contact. Individual orders exceeding $25,000 will be synopsized pursuant to FAR Subpart 5.3. A complete list of items and forecasted quantities can also be obtained upon request. Orders issued under the Basic Ordering Agreement and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) because the Government does not currently possess data necessary to compete the items solicited hereunder. Guidance in NAVSUP solicitation language identified as LA27LN, Alternate Products Offered, applies to companies expressing an interest in supplying these items.
