Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48105, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to solicit from only one source, Getinge USA, Inc., 1777 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14623 to acquire preventive maintenance and unlimited emergency repair service to one (1) Getinge Cart Washer Model 9128 (S/N USR0840001), three (3) Getinge 833 HC Steam Sterilizers (S/N URA011620, S/N URA011640, S/N URA055621), and one (1) Getinge Ultrasonic Cleaner Model 2460 (S/N KSG12036) for a base year contract with one (1) contract option year exercised at the Government's discretion. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request to offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am EDST/EDT on February 23, 2016. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses must be directed to the Contracting Specialist Sabine McCorry at Sabine.McCorry@va.gov.
