Description
This is a Request for Information and Sources Sought Notice for Market Research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The United States Property & Fiscal Office (USPFO) for Montana is seeking information for training for up to 20 students. Contractor will propose a firm fixed price to provide the courses at the contractor location. The course must be designed to meet or exceed the NFPA standards and will provide the tools necessary to obtain certification through NPQS (Pro Board) for Fire Instructor I, (NFPA 1041), Fire Officer I (NFPA 1021), Structural Burns, Industrial Burns and ARFF Burns. Instruction will be provided through classroom lectures, group activities and task-oriented applications. Any submission provided in response to this sources sought will be at no cost to the Government. Instructors shall hold all applicable licenses and credentials. Contractor is responsible for issuing certification certificates with the NFPA seal for each student upon successful completion of applicable course. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes for this Sources Sought is 611699 "All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction" Contractor shall furnish the plant, labor and materials necessary to provide the instruction, testing and certification for the courses listed above. The USPFO for Montana is also seeking information in the following areas: o socio economic status for NAICS 611699 o the availability of on site lodging and meals for up to 20 students o availability of material handing equipment to load and unload military containers up to 5000 lbs. o feasibility of providing training within a 300 mile radius of Fort Harrison, MT 59636. o technical approach for delivery of training o Any other information useful to the government in developing its acquisition strategy
