The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Percival Scientific Inc. for the procurement of a quantity of 3 Biological Incubators with pan-type humidifier and dehumidifier with advanced RH sensor to include inside delivery. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on NOI-RML-E-1776597. This acquisition is a Notice of Intent (NOI). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-86-2, effective February 1, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of (500). This requirement is not set aside for small business. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), is seeking to purchase Qty 3: Percival Scientific Biological Incubator Model I-36NL with : •· Single-board solid-state design, backward compatible with all Intellus' systems •· Durable 10-key industrial keypad with VFD display and LED indicators •· 3 programming styles: Diurnal, 24 hour, Non-24 hour (elapsed time) •· Programs can be run in ramping or non-ramping modes •· Multiple programs may be linked to simulate natural conditions •· Up to 23 output channels for programmable events •· Dual experiment protection via primary and independent secondary limits •· Contains no lighting •· 22 gauge electro-zinc plated steel exterior and interior, all seams and joints welded •· Painted with highly reflective white baked enamel •· Temperature range: 2 ° to 44 ° C (± 0.5 ° C). •· ¼ HP continuous running condensing unit •· Top mounted refrigeration for easy access and cleaning •· 29.7 ft 3 capacity •· Six adjustable shelves for a working area of 32.3 ft. 2 (3.0 m 2 ). •· One 1" (2.54 cm) Access Port. •· Caster Assembly with levelers. •· Electrical requirement: Standard chamber is 115/1/60 Qty 3 H6 Pan-type humidifier & dehumidifier w/Advanced RH sensor FOB Point shall be Destination; Bethesda, MD 20892.
