Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 has entered into contract VA118-16-C-0841 with Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance, Inc., located at 900 Glebe Road Rm 4-009, Arlington, VA 22203. This contract is for professional services to assist VA with performing research and analysis of open source Electronic Health Record (EHR) products and code to facilitate VA's awareness and decision-making of open source software and product candidates for VA VistA Intake. Additionally, these services will assist VA with identifying necessary VA EHR capabilities, identify open source software and product candidates that may fulfill the VA capability gaps, and determine the best approaches at achieving the desired VA capabilities and closing the gaps with available open source software, as well as provide architecture visualization tools to assist Technical Working Groups with facilitation and decision-making. The period of performance is one 12-month base period, two 12-month option periods, and one separately priced Optional Task. This effort was solicited under Request for Proposal VA118-16-R-0841 was published to the Federal Business Opportunities Page on November 20, 2015.
