- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the ARDEC EOD Technology Directorate is contemplating the issuance of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to potential sources which are capable of providing multiple variants and types of EOD training aids. SPECIFICATIONS: Interested sources shall demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements set forth in this document by submitting documentation indicating their ability to acquire inert ordnance and or to produce training posters and handbooks. All ordnance training aids will be inert, factory original hardware. As these items will be used for training Soldiers in identification of ordnance, all items must have factory original stamped and stenciled markings as appropriate. Machined, cast or any other type of replicas are not acceptable and will be rejected. Ordnance required will include Projectiles, Mines, Sub-Munitions, Mortars, Grenades, Missiles, Rockets, Aircraft Bombs, Firing Devices, Fuzes and ancillary items. Exact items required will be listed for each individual purchase by their military nomenclature and type designation and will be detailed in the Statement of Work. Examples of items and quantities that may be sought in future procurement actions are: Mine, Anti-Personnel, Hungary, GYATA, 5000 each Fuze, Mine, Czech Republic, RO-8, 5000 each Mine, Anti-Personnel, Bulgaria, PM79, 1000 each Fuze, Mortar, Yugoslavia, M68P1, 1000 each Mine, Anti-Personnel, Czech Republic, PP-Mi-Sr, 1000 each Contractor will include written certification that all items are inert with each shipment. Other types of EOD training aids such as posters or handbooks will also be sought. These will be used to instruct Soldiers in ordnance identification and functioning. This will require the vendor to have access to high quality photographs of US and foreign ordnance as well as technical information such as dimensions, country of origin and functioning data on a wide variety of foreign ordnance. Sizes and subject of posters and handbooks will vary and will be specifically listed in the SOW. Sources shall obtain and maintain proper registrations and licenses for conducting these types of businesses. PLANNED ACQUISITION: The planned acquisition approach is to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with sources capable of providing multiple variants of EOD ordnance and other training aids. The requirements will range from approximately $3,000 - $5,000,000. SUBMISSION INFORMATION: This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice. Interested sources shall submit their capabilities/qualification data to: U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Attn: Ms. Trisha Fitton at trisha.a.fitton.civ@mail.mil. All information is to be submitted via email, at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. All respondents shall indicate the name and size of their business (large or small), address, POC, phone/fax number, and email address. Interested sources shall provide relevant information pertaining to their experience on previous projects and any other specific and pertinent information as it pertains to this particular area of procurement that would enhance the Government's evaluation of the source's capabilities. The additional information submitted shall not exceed 5 pages.
