Description
The RSVP limit has been reached for INSCOM Industry Day. RSVPs can no longer be accepted as of 8 February 2016. The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) invites you to attend the FY16 INSCOM Industry Day on March 9, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Eastern) in the Allder Auditorium at the National Geospatial Agency's (NGA) Springfield, Virginia campus. This event will be hosted by Major General George J. Franz III, Commanding General, INSCOM, who will kick off the event providing insight into the command's strategic and operational objectives and highlight areas for collaboration with industry focusing on today's complex worldwide intelligence and security environment. The theme of this year's Industry Day is: Strengthening Partnerships Between INSCOM And Industry For Future Mission Success! "The event is an outstanding opportunity for INSCOM senior leadership, staff, and Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) to interact with critical intel and security industry partners in order to share the INSCOM path forward (vision), describe future desired capabilities, and brief industry on the INSCOM acquisition strategy for FY16 and beyond," said Colonel Lance B. Green, INSCOM Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting. Early and frequent interaction and collaboration with industry is critical to the INSCOM mission, our customers, and our strategic partnerships. Through the conducting of this full day CLASSIFIED industry day, INSCOM will present capability gaps and future requirements in order to motivate industry partners to provide innovative solutions to help INSCOM achieve its strategic and operational objectives. Industry Day is specifically aimed to enhance dialogue with our private sector partners in three main areas: Shape the Command: • Acquire Leading Edge Military Intelligence (MI) Technologies • Drive SIGINT and Cyber Modernization • Advance National-Tactical GEOINT Enterprise Strengthen The Foundation: • Support Army Security Posture • Train The Force • Adapt to Constrained Fiscal Environment Support Global Operations: • Increase Aerial ISR and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination Capabilities • Optimize the CI/HUMINT Enterprise • Build Cyber Operational/Intelligence Capacity INSCOM will have a question/answer panel where selected panel members will directly answer industry partner questions. If you have specific question(s) you would like addressed during this open forum, please submit your written question(s) in advance when you RSVP. Depending on the volume of questions received, your question(s) may be consolidated with others or addressed individually. An open mic for on the spot questions will be available during the event. However, the panel will address pre-submitted questions first and depending on time remaining will open up the floor to questions. This is an opportunity to continue a productive relationship with current industry partners while simultaneously establishing new partners to help us achieve our stated goals.
