Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to contract other than full and open competiton for Handheld fluid scan kit and accessories is specifically required by the Coast guard Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPC) A54012.0 & A154020.0. This equipment will be used to condut the fluid scan analysis according to the MPCs. The Coast Guard has required this specific equipment in the MPC's used for fluid analysis, therefore Spectro Scientifc is the only approved provided of the equipment required to conduct the fluid analysis maintenance procedure. Spectro Scientific, One executive drive, Chelmsford, MA 01824. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to establish a single award Contract. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested contractors who may wish to seek subcontracting should contact the above named company directly. A solicitation was submitted on gsa ebuy under rfq1062372 posted on 1/29/2016. A total of 7 no bids were received. This requirement will be awarded without further notice on approximately 10 February 2016.
