Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Executive Information Systems, LLC to provide SAS Analytics Pro software. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order with an anticipated one year Period of Performance. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Executive Information Systems, LLC, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Executive Information Systems, LLC is the sole authorized reseller for Version 8 and later of SAS software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 511210. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10 February 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
