- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source, firm fixed price order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-15-G-0052 with Martin Baker Aircraft Company, Ltd (MBA), Higher Denham, Middlesex, England for Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seats (NACES) to procure spare aircraft survival equipment. These items are being procured to support the Kuwait Air Force. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Martin-Baker Aircraft Company, Ltd is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seats (NACES) that are currently deployed throughout the fleet and as such is the only source with the requisite knowledge and experience necessary to meet this requirement.
