NOTICE TYPE: Industry Days FA8232-17-R-3000 (SLEP Production Industry Days) Previous titled FA8232-16-R-F16-SLEP-Production SOURCES SOUGHT TITLE: F-16 Legacy Structural Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) Notification of Industry Day to Support Production Planning and Strategy Development SYNOPSIS: •1. NOTICE: The F-16 SLEP team will host "Industry Days" from 22-24 March 2016, to support production planning and acquisition strategy development. •2. Purpose: The purpose of Industry Day is to provide a detailed discussion with industry to communicate program requirements, goals, schedule, and technical baseline; as well as to solicit industry feedback about vendor capabilities and the SLEP procurement strategy. Industry Day will be held in two parts: 1) Open Government discussions with industry, and 2) one-on-one meetings with interested participants. Reference 11 January 2016, FedBizOps Soliciation: "FA8232-16-R-F16-SLEP-Production," for additional program information, and to request a copy of the draft technical data package. •3. Industry Day Goals: •a. Communicate program requirements and goals •b. Synergy efforts between F-16 SLEP Team and Industry representatives •c. Incorporate Industry comments/recommendations into the SLEP procurement strategy •d. Gain better understanding of Industry capabilities and/or constraints •e. Determine small business interest and capabilities •f. Provide updates to Industry on future SLEP acquisition activities and schedules •4. High-Level Agenda: Location: Hill Aerospace Museum, 7961 Wardleigh Road, Hill AFB, UT 84056 Dates: 22 - 24 March 2016 Times: Meetings begin promptly at 10:00am and conclude by 3:30pm. Lunch (at your own discretion) is planned from 12:00-1:30pm. Meeting Schedule: 22 March 2016: Morning (10:00am - 12:00pm): •a. Sign-in •b. Welcome and Agenda •c. SLEP Overview Brief •d. Engineering and Technical Brief •e. Acquisition/Business Strategy •f. Question and Answer Session (Open) Lunch break (12:00-1:30pm): At your own discretion Afternoon (1:30-3:30pm): •a. One-on-One Discussions (45 min w/15 min for Gov't note taking/conversations. Contractor meetings will begin as designated.) 23 March 2016: All Day (10:00am-12:00pm; 1:30-3:30pm): •a. Continue One-on-One Discussions (as necessary) 24 March 2016: All Day (10:00am-12:00pm; 1:30-3:30pm): •a. Continue One-on-One Discussions (as necessary) •5. The U. S. Air Force asserts that it has a responsibility to advance the potential for competition for this requirement. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The Government will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this notice. Hard copy responses will not be returned. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. •6.
