Description

This acquisition is a Definite Quantity Contract for the manufacture and delivery of 20 EA of NSN 3131-01-473-5046, identified as a WELDING MACHINE, ARC. There is one approved source for this material: Miller Electric MFG Co. (CAGE 40608) P/N 951404. The solicitation number is SPE8E6-16-Q-0011 and is issued as unrestricted. The solicitation will provide for a one-time procurement. A single award will be made from this solicitation. Delivery will be FOB Origin. The Government required delivery schedule is 60 days after date of order. FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 will be the source selection approach. This is a notice for a Request for Quote. The release date of the solicitation is February 5, 2016. A copy of the solicitation is available through DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will be considered by DLA Troop Support.
