Description
ELTY 648C Depot Access Request Form Large Business Registration Form Visitors Information Booklet Small Business Registration Form Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) is a recognized leader in providing world-class logistics support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems across the Department of Defense (DoD). TYADs Corporate Philosophy, dedicated workforce and electronics expertise ensure the depot is the Joint C4ISR provider of choice for all branches of the Armed Forces and our industry partners. A $700M+ operation, TYAD has provided more than 60 years of excellence in Communications-Electronics for our nation and friendly foreign nations. TYAD is located in Northeastern PA. TYAD plans to conduct an Industry Day to both small and large business. The event will take place at the Tobyhanna Army Depot from 12 to 14 April 2016. Attendees will receive briefings on TYADs capabilities, Public to Private Partnering, upcoming contracting opportunities and TYADs small business contracting goals. To supplement the briefings provided, TYAD will conduct a facilities tour of the installation. The capabilities highlighted will include: * TYADs C4ISR capabilities * Live Fire Test Simulator * Radar Maintenance and Test Facility * Depot Maintenance of the Future * Electro-Optics/Night Vision Testing and Repair Facility * Cable Fabrication Shop * Test Program Set Repository * Specialized Industrial Operations * The way to create enduring partnerships The event is free of charge, however it is not intended to be a showcase for industry presentation of their capabilities. Optional lunch and refreshments will be made available to attendees on all days for a nominal fee. More detailed information is provided in the attachments. A tentative agenda will be published at a later date, so interested parties should check FBO for updates. Please note, this year we have separate registration forms for small and large businesses. Please use the applicable form dependent upon your company. Additional information on the TYAD Industry Day may be found on the TYAD website: http://www.tobyhanna.army.mil In order to plan the event the Special Notice requests that industry vendors and partners provide a completed copy of the Registration Form and Visitor Access Form (ELTY 648-C) attachments to this Special Notice via e-mail to: usarmy.tyad.usamc.mbx.industry-day@mail.mil Each attendee will be required to register individually for the event and must submit all required documentation to ensure facility access. If information is incomplete, you will be notified via e-mail and must follow instructions in order to complete the registration process. There is limited space available for participants, therefore, registration will be reserved on a first come-first serve basis based on receipt of registrations. The Government will respond to company registration requests with confirmation of space being reserved or not available. The government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. The session will not be recorded, but notes will be taken to ensure that questions requiring response have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the companies shall rely on the Final RFP of each requirement. TYAD looks forward to meeting with and assisting you as you develop long standing partnerships with the depot! Additional Information: Due to normal depot flow traffic at the main gate, please allow sufficient time for processing to preclude tardiness. For attendees taking the tour, due to major construction, all posted safety warnings are applicable and to which they must be adhered. Additionally, appropriate footwear should be worn while on tour. For additional information regarding safety on post, please refer to the attached TYAD Visitor Booklet. If you have specific areas of interest you would like to tour, please annotate certain capabilities/commodities on the registration form such that we can accommodate focused tours for attendees. Parking is available in The Landing parking lot with some overflow in the Commissary and Exchange parking lot across the street; however, parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. All attendees must be US Citizens. All attendees must have a valid US driver's license. The driver of any vehicle should carry the appropriate rental papers, insurance documents, and vehicle registration. Please see http://tobyhanna.army.mil for visitor information. Visitors are required to enter the base through the Scranton Gate (Main Gate) entrance, located off of Interstate 380. Visitors are required to enter the Visitor Control Center, Building 606, in order to be processed. Attendees will then be directed to The Landing. No photo, audio, or video equipment is allowed in the building. No video or audio recording will be permitted. Cell phones and pagers shall be turned OFF while participating at the TYAD Industry Day.
