Description

BUC BUC The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Wavestream Corporation, 545 West Terrace Drive, San Dimas, CA 91773 for the purpose of funding satellite communication equipment. Based on market research, and Government experts in the field, it has been determined that only Ku Band, Outdoor, Block Up-Converter (BUC) can be facilitated to Wavestream Corporation due to proprietary and configuration access. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Kelli Parker, email address: Kelli.Parker@ic.fbi.gov by Thursday, February 11, 2016 (2:00 pm Eastern). Emailed responses will only be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
