- Description
- The Government intends to issue a solicitation for full line fresh fruit & vegetable (FF&V) support for Department of Defense (DOD) Troops customers in the Dallas, Texas region. The solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside (NAICS code 311991). The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), Fixed Price with an Economic Price Adjustment based on cost of materials. It contains one (18 month) base period plus one (18 month) option periods. The length of the contract, including options, is 36 months (3) years. The acquisition method is price and past performance, low-price/technically acceptable (LPTA). The Government intends to make one (1) award. The guaranteed minimum (10%) dollar value is $350,000 and the maximum dollar value is $7,000,000. This represents the maximum value dollar of a FAR 13.5 Award. Offerors shall submit their best proposal. Government reserves the right to award without discussions if offerors can be deemed technically acceptable. The solicitation anticipated reopen date is estimated within 5 days of this notice. A complete customer list and schedule of items will be included in the solicitation.
