Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order for cybersecurity support services. The required cybersecurity support services relate to the DIACAP Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process and are critical to allow NSWCCD to meet its mission. The proposed sole source order with Basic Commerce Industries, Inc. of Moorestown, NJ will be solicited and awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will prevent an interruption of these critical services while a competitive follow-on action is awarded. The applicable NAICS code is 541519 and the Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million. The estimated period of performance is 60 calendar days with an expected start date of 29 February 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
