- Description
- The 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh IAP ARS, Coraopolis, PA 15108 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), using the Best Value source selection procedure, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) techniques to make a single award. This is a firm fixed-price contract to provide for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to Construct Munitions Maintenance and Inspection Facility, Project JLSS 12-0011B. Work includes, but not limited to, constructing a 1050 SF (GROSS) Munitions Maintenance and Inspection (M&I) Facility, excavation/fill, utility connections, restroom, mechanical room, drive-thru vehicle bay, standing seam roof, fascia, gutters, sidewalks, fencing, interior communications. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 236220. The applicable size standard is $36.5 million. Request for Proposal FA6712-16-R-0003 will be available o/a 8 March 2016. Proposal closing date will be o/a 12 April 2016. This action is being set-aside for competition restricted to Hub Zone Small Business firms IAW FAR Subpart 19.14 and 52.219-27. Performance period is 300 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date with no obligation to the offeror by the government. Note: Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Firms can register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line using SAM. Offerors must be a certified Hub Zone firm at the time of the proposal closing date. The solicitation and associated plans and specifications will be available from the FBO website o/a 8 March 2016.
