Description

NOTE: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REQUESTING INFORMATION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME; HOWEVER, THE GOVERNMENT DOES INTEND TO SOLICIT THIS IN THE NEAR FUTURE. Background: The Butler VA Medical Center is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified, technically capable vendors to furnish all parts, labor and transportation to perform an Arc Flash Analysis of the entire electrical distribution system located at the Butler VA Medical Center. Brief Description of Required Services: The contractor shall perform an Arc Flash Analysis of the entire electrical distribution system located at the Butler VA Medical Center as per newest editions of NEC (National Electric Code), NFPA 70E (National Fire Protection Association) and IEEE 1584 regulations (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers). This documentation shall include single line diagrams and each electrical device's calculations. Documentation must be hard copy and DVD electronic copies. Drawings will be in AutoCAD and (pdf) format. All other bid documents will be furnished in the file type they were created along with (pdf) files. This analysis will include all buildings and electrical equipment on campus including outside electrical equipment including but not limited to pad mounted transformers, generators and outside switchgear. Contractor must supply and attach arc flash hazard labels.
