At the direction of the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), PEO STRI has the mission to solicit white papers and proposals under the DET Test Technology Area of the Test and Evaluation/Science and Technology Program for advanced development of technology. The BAA will be issued to satisfy the TRMC requirement to support test and evaluation for which technology shortfalls may exist such as Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and Live-Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E).
