Description: Solicitation Number: VA24816Q0462 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA San Juan is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commodities purchase of the Solar Nexam Pro Cim Urodynamics System for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System located at 10 CASIA Street, San Juan, PR, 00921. To be receiving a government award, the offeror must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Offerors are encouraged to go to the SAM database www.sam.gov and start the registration process as soon as possible to avoid possible delays should the contractor be selected as a prospective awardee. Award will be made to lowest price quote which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis solicitation number is VA248-16-Q-0462. It's issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The following are the evaluation factors to be used: Price and Technical. "The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and Technical. Technical requirements, are significantly less important than cost or price" It is advised that Offerors include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification - Commercial Items (AUG 2013) with its Offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. All offers must include a completed copy of this provision. All Offers must either be accompanied by Representations and Certifications or the offeror must be currently registered in ORCA at website https://orca.bpn.gov/ Clauses and provisions included are: New equipment ONLY, NO remanufactured or used products. No "GREY" market items. Offer MUST be good for 30 calendar days after submission. FOB Destination CONUS (Continental U.S.) Shipping charges shall be included in the purchase cost of the products. Sellers shall deliver the products on the own conveyance to the location listed on the purchase order. No partial shipments unless otherwise specified at time of order.
