- Summarization of the required services. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Headquarters is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including Small, Small Disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), Woman-owned (WOSB), Veteran Owned (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SD-VOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI) for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for NASA Headquarters Operational Support Services (see attached Description of Services). The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Woman-owned (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses hereto. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561210 and $38.5 million, respectively. Respondents to this request for information shall provide a one-page summary with their capability statement. The summary shall include the following information: 1. Business Information a. Company name and address b. DUNS Number c. Socio-economic classification of company (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, service disabled veteran owned, HUBZone, large business, etc.) d. Size (gross revenue, number of employees in company) e. Number of years in existence f. Company point of contact -- name, phone, and email address The capability statement shall not exceed 20 pages, including the one-page summary and shall include the following information: List of relevant government and/or private sector contracts and subcontracts it has performed, or is performing within the past three years. Point of contact information -- name, phone, and e-mail address. (Relevant is defined as same or similar to the proposed effort in scope and complexity.) This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of their capability statements. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about August 15, 2016 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about September 12, 2016. No solicitation exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. All responses shall be submitted no later than February 29, 2016, via email to: Marybeth.Evans@nasa.gov. On the email subject line, reference NNH16573790R, HQs Operational Support Services (HOSS).
