************Notice Amendment A004************************ Posted today, 29 January 2016 is supplemental Site Visit guidance for 10 and 11 February 2015 as detailed in Section L. For Bogota: All visitors need to arrive at the U.S. Embassy (Calle 24 Bis No. 48-50 Bogotá, D.C. Colombia) via pedestrian Gate 1 no later than 9:30 am (30 mins prior to the scheduled time). Anyone arriving after 9:30 am and missing the group escort shall forfeit their opportunity for a site visit. Traffic in Bogota can be challenging, therefore make plans to arrive early. Prior to entering the Embassy compound, all personnel will be screened and must exchange a valid government-issued photo ID (i.e. Passport) for a visitor badge. All electronics will remain with the guards throughout the Embassy visit. Please do not bring valuables or wear items that will cause scanning delays. A representative from the Regional Security Office (RSO) will meet all the visitors at the same time (09:30 am) and escort all visitors to the briefing room. Again, anyone arriving after the group departs shall forfeit their opportunity for a site visit. There is no on compound parking spaces available so please plan accordingly. RSO Bogota For Cartagena: The same rules apply regarding screening and identification. All visitors should check in at the front gate at least 15 minutes prior (09:45) and the RSO shall send a rep out to escort visitors to the briefing room. No site visit for Barranquilla. RSO Cartagena Requisite information for site visits as cited in Section L is still required for those that wish to attend. *********************************************************
