- This requirement is for Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) Services for the Department of Anesthesia and Operative Services (DOAOS) within at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. The Contractor shall provide a spinal monitoring machine, the PERSONAL Services of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technician to monitor the patient during surgical procedures, and the NON-PERSONAL Services of a Neurologist to monitor the patient during surgical procedures from a remote location. The Healthcare Providers (HCPs) performing services under this contract must have prior experience providing Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Services (IONM). These services will be conducted on an on-call basis for both scheduled and emergency surgeries. The performance schedule will vary depending on if it is a scheduled or emergency surgery. Period of Performance 1 April 2016 -31 March 2017, plus four subsequent one-year option periods, ending 31 March 2021, if exercised. Because each spinal monitoring machine uses its own unique set of supplies and material in order to provide the monitoring services. The cost of the materials/supplies to setup and calibrate the machine will be included in the time rate and not separately priced. The individual supplies/materials used during the spinal monitoring procedure will be pre-priced and funded in the contract at the time of award. The Operating Room (OR) Surgeon's will be responsible for deciding which materials to use during the procedures. The materials will include items such as probes, subdermal needles, and surface electrodes, etc. All of the materials available for use during the procedures will be provided as a menu to the surgeon, and the surgeon will order the materials based on the needs of the Government. The operating room charts and records will be consulted by the COR to ensure that the contractor's invoiced amount matches the operating room's usage.
