- Draft Statement of Work The purpose of this notice is to perform SOURCES SOUGHT/MARKET RESEARCH. This is NOT a solicitation. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District, requests letters of interest from qualified firms interested in performing work as described on the draft Statement of Work (attached-click on the "Additional Documentation" link). The Government intends to award one firm-fixed price commercial services purchase order. The performance period will be for one (1) Base year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option years. The Government intends to use Best Value - Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. For those offerors which are determined to be technically acceptable, award will be made to the vendor with the lowest overall price. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Please include a narrative to answer each of the following questions: (Total number of pages shall not exceed 5.) (1) Name of firm with address, phone, and English speaking point of contact. (2) Your intent to submit a proposal for this project when it is formally advertised. (3) What experience does your firm have doing similar work as described in the draft Statement of Work? (4) Does your firm have the staffing available to handle emergency service calls 24 hours per day/7 days per week? (5) Can your company support more than one move at the same time? (6) Does your company possess previous experience with working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers? (7) Does your company possess previous experience with working on a military installation? Firms responding to this sources sought synopsis, who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought synopsis. NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR THIS PROJECT WHEN IT IS FORMALLY ADVERTISED, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS.
