- Current Contractor Locations Notice Questionnaire Statement of Work Title: Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information, Pertaining to a Contemplated New Procurement for a Regional Support Contractor to provide Interpreter Services for the U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The purpose of this notice is to enable DOT to obtain preliminary information about the kinds and sizes of businesses that are capable of performing a contract of this scale. T his notice is not a Solicitation and it does not seek the submission of formal binding proposals. In the event that DOT determines that these services will be procured, a formal Request for Proposal will be issued. D OT cannot and will not reimburse any organization for its time, effort, or costs expended in responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Under the contemplated new contract, the Contractor would be providing Interpreting Services for DOT, USCG and other Federal Agencies' employees located in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and various regions throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and locations in the Western Pacific such as Guam and American Samoa. The NAICS code for this effort is 541930, Translation and Interpretation Services, with a business size standard of $7.5Million. The anticipated period of performance is five (5) years inclusive of a base period and four (4) one year option periods. Based on the nature of the requirement, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract, from which individual Task Orders could thereafter be issued, would best suit agency needs. After reviewing the SOW, interested parties should submit the following: 1) Sources Sought Questionnaire, 2) Company Capability Statement and, 3) Three past performance references. Any questions concerning this notice should be directed to the Contract Specialist, Jacqueline Howard with a copy to the Contracting Officer, Robin Gates. Any interested company, regardless of business size, should e-mail their responses to Jacqueline.howard@dot.gov with a courtesy copy Robin.gates@dot.gov by 12:00 PM Eastern Time, February 19, 2016. There is no limit on the length of any response but responses should be tailored to the Statement of Work attached hereto. Please reference "SSN Interpreting Services IDIQ" in the subject line when submitting your response. DOT looks forward to your submission in response to this notice.
