- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes solicitation SPE4A5-16-Q-0676; that proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued for PR 0061115113. This solicitation will contain NSN 5365-005556124, SHIM and will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under FAR Part 12 for Commercial Acquisitions. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Please complete the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this Acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This NSN is a commercial, part numbered item and the approved source is: MEGGITT (NORTH HOLLYWOOD), INC.79318 P/N 100168-62 Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition procedures under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This is a Firm ‐ Fixed Price type Contract. The purchase request quantity is 185,200 units. No Quantity Option applies. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The required delivery is 100 DARO. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and a First Article Test (FAT) is not required. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. Subcontracting plan is not required as the applicable threshold is not expected to be breached. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold is not expected to be breached. Certified Cost or Pricing data is not required as this is a commercial item. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. The solicitation issue date is on or about 1/20/16. The closing date is on or about 02/05/2016.
