Description

Attachment III - Installation Data Sheet Attachment II- Experience with End-User Attachment I- Small Business Contracting Plan FERMI 2016 Combined Synopsis DLA Energy is seeking offerors from potential suppliers of retail electricity, to supply and deliver electricity and ancillary services and/or incidental services to the Department of Energy's Fermi National Laboratory located in the PJM territory (Chicago Area) of Illinois. The contract awarded under this solicitation will be for 36 months in duration and of a Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements Type with deliveries commencing on the meter read date occurring in January 2017 and ending on the meter read date occurring in December 2019. DLA Energy seeks to procure the majority of energy supplied in blocks at firm fixed prices, at the Northern Illinois Hub with the remainder of the energy requirements at the ComEd Zone Locational Marginal Price (LMP). This pricing strategy allows Fermi to lock in a series of fixed-priced blocks of energy purchased over a period of time in accordance with a predetermined buying schedule in order to take advantage of fluctuations in the cost of energy. The acquisition quantity is estimated at 866,450,856 kWh based on 2015 utility data.
