- AMENDMENT 0001 TO THE ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS N00164-15-R-GP87 - WOODEN CONTAINERS/SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS - FSC 8145 - NAICS 321920 Anticipated Issue Date 25 January 2016-Anticipated Closing Date 26 February 2016-2:00 PM EST AMENDMENT 0001 to the original synopsis While this is amendment 0001 to the original synopsis, Amendment 0004 to the original solicitation will be posted on or about 25 January 2016. The Small Business Set-Aside has been dissolved for CLINs 0003, 0005, 0006, 0007, 0010, 0012, 0013, 0014, and 0015. The Navy has a requirement for the procurement of multiple types of wooden containers/shipping arrangements to be produced in accordance with Government drawings and Statement of Work (See CLINs below.) Amendment 0004 will be issued pursuant to the procedures in FAR Part 15 for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Delivery will be FOB Destination. CLIN 0001: CIR Container Min/Max: 20/115 CLIN 0002: VSG Container Min/Max: 20/115 CLIN 0003: Standpipe Container Min/Max: 12/280 CLIN 0004: Dummy Closure Container Min/Max: 12/280 CLIN 0005: Umbilical Retractor Mechanism Container Min/Max: 0/280 CLIN 0006: Cooling Chamber Shipping Container Min/Max: 0/280 CLIN 0007: Steel Ballast Closure Container Min/Max: 0/115 CLIN 0008: Test Report for CIR Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0009: Test Report for VSG Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0010: Test Report for Standpipe Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0011: Test Report for Dummy Closure Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0012: Test Report for Umbilical Retractor Mechanism Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0013: Test Report for Cooling Chamber Shipping Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0014: Test Report for Steel Ballast Closure Container Min/Max: 0/1 CLIN 0015: Emergent Requirements Containers Inspection will be at Origin by cognizant DCMA or other Government Representative as specified. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed at NSWC Crane. This solicitation will utilize full and open competition after exclusion of sources as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR 6.203 for CLIN 0001, 0002, 0004, 0008, 0009, and 0011. All remaining CLINs will be unrestricted, full and open competition. The Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors interested in responding with a valid quote may obtain information on registration in SAM via http://www.sam.gov. The documents are limited distribution (Distribution D) and will not be made available unless approval is granted. Interested contractors must be registered in JCP in order to receive access. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. If there are any differences between this synopsis and the solicitation, the solicitation takes precedence. Amendment 0004 to the solicitation will be available for download on or about 25 January 2016. Interested parties can download the solicitation amendment and enclosed attachments from www.fbo.gov; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Closing date will be on or about 26 February 2016. When Amendment 0004 to the solicitation is available, all responsible parties may submit a proposal for this procurement which will be considered by the Government.
