As a result of the above, this amendment revises the following and provides the appropriate revised pages: 1. Performance Work Statement, Page 2, months of irrigation is being corrected to read "March through September" instead of "March and September." 2. Performance Work Statement, Page 3, requirement to fertilize is being removed. Checking berms and roads for blow outs is being updated to be performed daily while on site irrigating. 3. Performance Work Statement, Page 3, Paragraph titled Manual Removal of Vegetation is being updated to include removal of other "nonnative" vegetation. Also being updated is the contractor shall keep the roadways, walkways, irrigation valves and rock struction clear of "at least 90% of all" vegetation "per week" for safety purposes. 4. Performance Work Statement, Page 5, Performance Requirements Summary is being updated to remove the requirement to fertilize from Task 1 and update the performance standard for Task 4 to include the requirement to remove at least 90% of vegetation along roadways, walkways and around the irrigation valves. B. The following responses are provided to questions submitted in response to this solicitation: 1. Can more than on alfalfa valve be open for irrigating cells allowing two or cells to be irrigated at one time? Answer: If the question is ¿Can more than one alfalfa vale be opened for irrigating cells allowing two or more cells to be irrigated at one time? ¿, then the answer is no. Each cell should be irrigated individually, one cell at a time. The irrigated cell, berms and pump shall be monitored during the irrigation cycle and the irrigation time recorded. 2. With the number of cells and required no of flood events in four days assumptions have to made to cover all required work. One cell, EE, is "as needed". Is the goal to keep this cell at a specific moisture/wetness? In the past, generally speaking, how often was this cell irrigated (?) or please provide a schedule so I can ensure we get it covered. Answer: See updated cell irrigation schedule. Note MM and II are now listed as once a month, and EE is listed as once a week. Irrigation schedules for each cell can be adjusted per the decision of the Project Manager throughout the season.
