- Description
- Draft Curriculum Development RFP Industry Day for Curriculum Development for Probation and Pretrial Services Office **This Notice duplicates information provided in Notice AOUSC-ID-16-0001** The Probation and Pretrial Services Office and the Procurement Management Division of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) will be holding an Industry Day to discuss the requirements for the development of curriculum that can be used by probation officers and treatment providers to teach offenders the necessary skills to change their faulty thinking, steer clear of antisocial peers and develop prosocial networks, maintain employment and address educational deficits, address alcohol/drug use, and recognize triggers to violence and refrain from violent behaviors. Additionally, the AO is tasked to develop and implement a self-paced curriculum for offenders and offenders' support networks to follow so the offenders can independently work on these identified skills. The attached document is a rough draft of our requirements for this project, which is estimated to be from $5 to $10 million. It is provided for your review and to facilitate an interactive discussion during the Industry Day, particularly as it relates to the format of the Schedule of Items, the Statement of Work, the deliverable schedule, the Key Personnel requirements, and the proposal preparation instructions. We welcome any thoughts, recommendations, or questions in advance of the forum, so we may consider those as we prepare. There will also be the opportunity to submit questions (anonymously, if preferred) and to participate in the discussion during the Industry Day. The Industry Day will be held in the Mecham Conference Center at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building (TMFJB), One Columbus Circle NE, Washington DC 20544, from 10 AM to 12 noon on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Interested parties are invited to attend in person or through web-enabled participation. Please reply no later than noon, Wednesday, January 6, 2016, to janet_peterson@ao.uscourts.gov and michelle_hupp@ao.uscourts.gov indicating if you will attend in person or online. If in person, include the names of all attendees so we can provide that to our Security Staff for admission to the TMFJB. A valid photo ID must be submitted at the South Guard Station, without exception. If participating online, include the email address of everyone so we can send an invitation with a link to the webcast.
