Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to Order XXXX under a Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company of St. Louis, Missouri 63134 for the procurement of additional post full rate production (FRP) support and technical services that will assist in extending the life of the F/A-18E/F, EA-18G. This effort will be procured on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (C)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18A-D, F/A-18E/F, and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
