- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee order under a Basic Ordering Agreement with The Boeing Company of St. Louis, Missouri 63134 for the procurement of post full rate production (FRP) follow on support and technical services that will assist in extending the life of the F/A-18E/F, EA-18G including but not limited to component and product improvements such as the Next Gen Jammer program, engineering change proposals and other efforts as determined by the Navy. This effort will be procured on a sole source basis. The period of performance for this effort will be for a period of six months with an optional additional 6 month period that may be exercised. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18A-D, F/A-18E/F, and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
