- The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information and planning purposes only. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for any information solicited. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify potential sources that are interested in and capable of providing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Support Services described herein. As a result of this Sources Sought, 6 CONS may issue a Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ). However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against 6 CONS shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought (e.g., use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement). GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The 6th Contracting Squadron is seeking 8(a) vendors who can provide FOIA Support Services for United States Central Command and United States Special Operations Command Central located on MacDill Air Force Base, Florida to include the following: 2 FOIA Team Leads and 7 FOIA Senior Analysts with TS/SCI clearances. Services also include vendor providing management support Monday through Friday, which includes the management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontactors, to include the management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors and identifying a Program Manager by name, which shall provide management, direction, administration, and quality assurance in the execution of the contract. Vendors must be able to analyze public requests and process under FOIA and Privacy Act guidance. The NAICS Code is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. We are only seeking responses from 8(a) companies. Please do not respond if you are not an 8(a) company. Interested parties will need to summarize their support capabilities. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business size, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information.
