Description

The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a), The property or services needed by the executive agency are available from only one (1) responsible source and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the executive agency based on the current need to complete a four (4) month Period of Performance (PoP) extension to prevent unacceptable delays in filling Agency requirements/serve as a bridge while the competitive solicitation package is prepared for the follow-on effort. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Cryo Express, 20 Southlawn Ct. Suite C, Rockville, MD 20850-1391 to add an additional four (4) months of LN2 product to include delivery charges under the existing contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
