Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation No. DTFH7016Q00008 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), No. DTFH70-16-Q-00008, issued by the Federal Highway Administration with the intent to procure four 48-foot long WSDOT 48" x 18" precast, prestressed voided slabs for a bridge located at the Sol Duc Group Campsite in Olympic National Park, WA. Work involves fabricating and delivering the slabs to the campsite. Delivery is FOB destination. As such, the quoted price shall include the cost of delivery. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-85. This solicitation is issued as a Total Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 327390 - Other Concrete Product Manufacturing, which has an industry size standard of 500 employees. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. See Addendum to 52.212-2 for the evaluation factors. Quotes are due by 2:00 p.m. Pacific on January 13, 2016. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. FAR provisions and clauses may be viewed and/or downloaded from https://www.acquisition.gov. Once this combined synopsis/solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any amendments to the solicitation. Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) prior to award.
