- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an order to Roubini Global Economics LLC on a sole source basis under authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the RGE Monitor Annual Subscription. Roubini Global Economics LLC is the sole provider of the RGE Monitor Annual Subscription. The OCC Acquisition Management department is in need of renewing its subscription to the RGE Monitor. Roubini Global Economics Monitor Annual Subscription is a web-based subscription service that provides daily updates of major issues affecting the United States and global economy, prioritization of key issues, and links to analysis by other experts. There is no other single resource that provides the preceding features. The specialized nature of this subscription and its ability to be purchased from Roubini Global Economics LLC only, makes this a sole source requirement. This requirement will have a period of performance of 1/01/2016 - 12/31/2016 with four option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms that believe they can provide a service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within five (5) days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
