- SOW & DRAWING THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY FOR FABRICATE AND DELIVER TWO SELF-STANDING MOVEABLE INERPRETIVE DISPLAY PANELS TO THE CHENA RIVER LAKES FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT. OFFER OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS NOTICE, THIS IS NOT A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to facilitate a determination of acquisition strategy. The determination of acquisition strategy for this acquisition lies solely with the government and will be based on this market research and information available to the government from other sources. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, is conducting this market research to identify businesses which have the capability to perform the following work. Any resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed priced Purchase Order. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Description of Work: Fabricate and deliver two self-standing moveable interpretive display panels for the Chena River Lakes Visitor Center near North Pole, Alaska. Each panel will be approximately 12 feet long by 7 feet high with Velcro-receptive fabric on each side. The panels will be mounted in a welded steel frame with natural maple wood border material. The steel structure will be on legs with rollers/wheels such that the panels are approximately 12-14" above the floor. Top mounted down-lighting will be provided to light the panel on both sides. A maple wood cabinet for a touch screen display will mounted on one end of each panel structure. A conceptual sketch is attached for informational purposes only. Moose Creek Dam is located in the vicinity of North Pole, Alaska, approximately 18 Miles from Fairbanks. The magnitude of this project is under $150,000. Interested firms should submit the following information regarding their company: 1. Company Name, Address, and Point of Contract including email address. 2. Small Business status (Example: Service Disabled Veteran, 8(a), Hub-zone, Small Business, etc.) The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. The Service Contract Act will apply. Type of contract is firm-fixed price.
