- Description
- This is a special notice not a request for a quote, proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to obtain industry comments and knowledge only for the purpose of assessing the availability of qualified sources. The 5 th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB ND is seeking sources to provide on-site full service, preventive maintenance, and repair of the following two pieces of medical equipment located at Minot AFB. 1. Precision 500D R&F X-Ray unit. 2. Philips Bucky Diagnostic Non-Digital X-Ray unit. The period of performance will be on or about 15 Jan 2016 - 14 Jan 2017 with four option periods. The NAICS code is 811219. This procurement may be unrestricted. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published to Fed Biz Ops. There is currently no solicitation available. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for future synopsis/solicitation as they will not be notified. The contractor will be responsible for a preventive maintenance check every six months at a minimum and unlimited service calls. Response time for service calls shall be within 8 hours from the initial notification. All replacement parts shall be factory original and the vendor shall have access to all factory original software and service manuals used to maintain, calibrate, upgrade, and troubleshoot the equipment. Offerors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought, including commercial market information and company information via e-mail or facsimile (701-723-2895) to Mr. Carlan Taft at carlan.taft@us.af.mil no later than 28 Dec 2015.
