Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for the purpose of conducting a market survey only. The information collected will be used to determine market conditions and the availability of vendors, large and small, capable of meeting the Government requirements. The Government anticipates issuing a single award, Firm-Fixed price contract for the entire requirement outlined below using NAICS 562112. The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) is a large industrial facility located at Naval Air Station Jacksonville Florida. FRCSE is responsible for rework, repair, and overhaul of various Navy aircraft, engines, components, and ground support equipment. Many of the aircraft parts and components used throughout the maintenance process at FRCSE require routine cleaning to remove sludge and grime accumulated during the maintenance process. FRCSE utilizes several Parts Cleaning Machines to remove all sludge and grime from the aircraft parts and components. This requirement is for each Parts Cleaning Machine to be serviced/cleaned on a routine basis. The attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) identifies all machines by description, to include brand, model, and serial #, salient characteristics, quantity, as well as, location and required service frequency. The required services will be provided at FRCSE facilities located at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, FL and Naval Station (NS) Mayport, FL. Respondents shall provide a technical capabilities statement in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The technical capabilities statement shall include a cover page containing the organization name, mailing address, website, company size, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, Government business point-of-contact name, telephone number, and email address. In addition, the capabilities statement shall include past performance information pertaining to same or similar work as this requirement. Potential sources MUST identify their business size/socio-economic status (i.e. small business, large business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business etc.), and provide a list of all current GSA/VA scheduled contracts (if applicable). The technical capabilities statement will NOT be considered a response to a request for proposal or invitation for bid, as no such documents current exist. Responses will not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach or be construed as a commitment by or on behalf of the Government. The Government will not pay for the information requested/provided as a result of this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, nor will evaluation results will not be provided to respondents. No phone calls will be accepted. Responses shall be in writing and sent via email to Darryl.Turner@navy.mil on or before 23 December 2015.
